a VERY ODD thing happened just now here in Hunstville

Not five minutes after I posted my last message
concerning the Book of Job, my boss came in
and told me that the company I work for has
a good chance of getting a particular contract
from the US Army.

Although this would help keep my own job
secure, it is really important to me because
it may provide work to a close friend of mine
who has been out of work for a year and a half,
and also work for a friend of mine who is
working but needs supplementary income.

So maybe acting "AS IF" (as I said in my last
message) IS good enough.

I know that many of y'all will probably tell me
that I am a FOOL for not RECOGNIZING a
SIGN when a SIGN has been given, but I
hope we can disagree on this and stay
good acquaintances, and maybe even become
friends.

I am not making the above story up - it
really happened just this way. I believe
that a board member, Stephen M. Fortescue,
will confirm that I am not the kind of person
to make this kind of thing up.
