Date:   Fri, June 18, 2004 17:31

Dear Prayer Partners,
About a month ago Mr. Bradl sent in the coupon he had received over a
year ago in our literature distributions here in our area. He asked for
the free New Testament which we offered. When I delivered it and other
literature he shared with me his desire to learn more about the Christian
faith. He is about 46 years old, living on welfare, and  with many other
personal problems that keep him from holding down a job. He has started
attending church, seems to enjoy it, and expresses a desire to learn more
about the gospel and experience a real change in his own life. Today we
talked about the two ways of Matt. 7: 13-14. The power of Satan in his
life is great. Pray that this will be broken and that through Christ his
life will be completely changed.
Thank you for remembering this urgent request especially in the next few
days and weeks.
Blessings to you,
Harvey Ritz.

-------------------------------------------------------------------- :)

:)Thank you my fellow believers in our Lord Jesus Christ , for your prayers in this manner.

Harvey Ritz is the Father of my Pastor's wife.

 :)JUNE 25: 3:27 AM:

This was off of my Sunday School paper:

PRAYER OF THE HEART:

O Lord , I am tired and feeling worn out
You I am weary; please keep from doubt

Vulnerable and weak is this flesh of mine.
The temptation is great, my will would resign.

When I start to complain, Lord, bridle my tongue,
I fear I might slip and would hurt someone.

Whenever my ways begin to offend,
Rebuke me, dear Lord, and spare my friend.

When my attitude shows a seeming decline,
Remind me, dear Lord, by some little sign.

Oh, give me a heart that with love outpours,
And give me a mind that is more like Yours.

Give me a spirit where others are first
And give me a soul to feed someone's thirst.

To please only you, Lord, the prayer os my heart;
Help my focus be Christ, as today I must start.

Dear Lord:
On this Lord's Day:

Let us remember who you are. You are our Saviour, the Son of the Living God, our Lord Jesus Christ, who is our Brother, our Friend , our Husband, and our King.

I will like to pray today for the people who are members, who are guest on this Board, and their families.

I will like to lay at your feet, their hurts, disappointments, their disillusions, their anger, and their confusion.

I will like to lay at your feet their illnesses, their injuries, and their pain.

I will like to lay at your feet their emotions, their lives, their loves, and their hates.
I will like to lay at your feet, their faith, the ones who are struggling, the ones who are holding on to your hand, the ones who need your comfort, the one who needs a friend, the one who needs answers from the one who can give them the answers they seek.

I will like to lay at your feet, the ones who are going through trials, struggles, changes in life.
I will like to lay at your feet, their marriages, their children & grandchildren, their jobs, their families, their neighbours, and their communities.
I will like to lay at your feet their place of worship, may they be encouraged by the word being preached from the pulpit. I will like to lay at your feet their spiritual leaders that they maybe sensitive to the special needs of the ones in their congregations.

I will like to lay at your feet their home life.

Lord I lay at your feet each and every one of these people that are on this board in some way.
I lay myself at your feet, may I be use by you to bring encouragement that needs it. Guide me to the one who needs it.

Lord thank you for the answer prayers and the one's you will touch tonight.
Lord thank you for your promise you will never leave us nor forsake us.
Iwill like to lay at your feet the prodigals and I thank you  that you will gently bring them back to you.

Lord I ask all these in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Saviour of our Soul.

Story: ''THE RED UMBRELLA"

In a small farming community in the MidWest , the farmers didn't know what to do.  The drought was dragging on and on for what seemed an eternity.  THe rain was very important to the community's way of life. As the problem became more urgent, the local church felt it was time to get involved and planned a prayer meeting in order to ask for rain.

When the pastor arrived, he watched as his congregation continued to file in.  He slowly circulated from group to group as he made his way to the front in order to officially begin the meeting.  As the pastor finally secured his place in front of his flock, his thought were on the importance of quieting the crowd and starting the meeting.

Just as he began asking for quiet, he noticed an eleven year old girl sitting in the front row.  She was angelically beaming with excitement and laying next to her was her b right red umbrella, poised for use.

The beauty and innocence of this sight made the pastor smile to himself as he realized the faith this young girl possess that the rest of the people in the room seemed to have forgotten. For the rest had come just to pray for rain -- she had come to see God answer.

:)AUGUST 11TH AT 7:44 PM EST. ARNPRIOR, ONTARIO. CANADA.

GIDDAY:

I HAVE PRAYER REQUEST:

PLEASE PRAY FOR MY DAUGHTER SARA :-\

SHE IS MAKING A DECISION THAT IF I WAS IN THE STATES I WOULD BE ABLE TO PREVENT IT BY USING A LAW. IN CANADA THERE IS NO LAW TO SUPPORT MY AUTHORITY. ::)

Sara is thinking with her heart, starry eyes,  not the what if's of her head.

She knows she has the disapproval of me, the person she is boarding with, her sister, her best friend.

SARA IS 17 , planning on meeting a man in North Bay, 100 miles away from Arnprior, travelling by bus, to a city she has never been to, to meet a man of 30, she met at a wedding reception two weeks ago.

PLEASE PRAY THAT GOD WILL INTERVENE. IN A MIGHTY WAY.

I have pleaded, argued, and tried to reason with her.
Because of Canadian laws, giving the age of 14 years and up freedom to choose , and as long as their isnt roles of authority involved. These teenagers can choose any partner at any age.

SARA IS PLANNING THIS "LITTLE" TRIP NEXT THURSDAY.

I AM ASKING FOR PRAYER FROM BB CROWD, LEAVING SARA INTO GOD'S HAND TO DEAL WITH SO CALL DECISIONAL CHOICE OF SARA'S.

I am worried, I h ave a strong mother's insight, that if she goes through with this decision, she will suffer a consequence that she is not thinking of, and will have to deal with in a very hard life lesson.

I am going on a promise of God. I dont know where to find it at the moment.
What ever Man's plans for his life. It is God who has the final say in it. (?) ???

THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS IN THIS MATTER, AND THANK GOD FOR HIS ANSWERED PRAYERS IN THIS MATTER.

AMEN

Hi Lenore,

The verse that occurred to me was Proverbs 16:33:  The lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof is of the Lord.  It has been paraphrased as:  Man proposes, but God disposes.

Lenore,

I know this is not the way you want your children to learn and you are doing right in attempting to talk her out of it, but sometimes allowing someone to experience the consequences of their willful decision is the only way that works.

One of my sons especially believes, as I like to say, "the tree isn't real until I climb it."  Do all you can, but make sure you keep the door open.  They usually back when the pain is great enough.

Keeping you in prayer,

-Dave

SARA DID NOT GO ON THAT BUS TONIGHT.

AN INTERVENTION WAS ORGANIZED, BETWEEN ME, THE COUPLE  THAT SARA LIVES WITH (LOIS AND JAY), AND MY PASTOR B.
WE MEET AT SARA'S BEST FRIEND HOUSE, WHERE THE MOTHER, PEGGY, WE SAT AROUND THE KITCHEN TABLE, AND PRAYED, WHILE WE WERE PRAYING, SARA  AND THE FRIENDS SHE WENT TO THE MOVIES WITH, HER FRIENDS WERE TRYING TO TALK SARA OUT OF GOING.
SARA RANT, RAVES, CRIED, CURSED, THROUGH A HISSY FIT.
WE EVEN CALLED THE MAN INVOLVED.

SO IN THE END, SARA CHOSE NOT TO GET ON THE BUS TONIGHT, AND WENT HOME WITH THE BOGARS.

THERE IS A LOT OF HISTORY BETWEEN SARA AND MYSELF.
I AM TRYING TO IMPROVE AND CHANGE, AND MAKE AMENDS, SARA LOVES TO DO A LOT OF MUD RAKING.

TONIGHT  LORD INTERVENE, SO IF YOU CAN CONTINUE TO UPHOLD SARA TO GOD, I WOULD APPRECIATE IT.

Thanks Lenore, Mark and others who were praying for Floridians. My kids didn't get much of Frances until late yesterday, and Frances isn't done with them yet, as far as rain goes. As of this morning, they still had electricity, though 30,000 in their town were without. They are in north-central Florida.

Now Ivan is on it's way. Unbelievable. So much for retirement in Florida, especially in a mobile home; or anything with windows, for that matter.  :(

There is something I found out on Friday last.
Pastor B. confirmed it tonight at Alpha.

There is a Pastor  in town from another church .
Pastor Tom Smith , pastor of the Elgin Street Baptist Church here in Arnprior.

I found out Pastor Tom was in a bad car accident last June.
He was attending a church convention in Toronto.
While crossing the street was hit by a pick up truck.

Only the Lord grace prevented Pastor Tom from being killed.
He suffered a concussion, broken ribs, and leg broken in three places.
He has been bedridden most of the summer , and is now home. He is still on crutches. Mending slowly.

He has not gotten back to the pulpit yet.

I know Pastor Tom, because I serve with him on the start up committee for the A & D Neighbourlink Program over a year ago.

I am asking for Prayer for this Pastor.

I talked to my Pastor B. , Pastor B. was surprised that I didnt know about Pastor Tom.

Prayer is for Pastor Tom continual recovery from this accident.
Prayer is for Pastor Tom congregation.
Prayer in the way God leads you to pray.

Thanks you.
I feel any man of God who is a shepherd leading sheep needs all the prayers we can give.
Arnprior needs good pastors in this community.

Please pray for Beth and her daughter

Last winter there was a car accident in which an elderly man was killed by being hit by the car in which the daughter was driving.

The daughter is going to trial now . The trial date is October 29th.

I am asking for prayer for this family.
Beth comes to our ALpha Group and is a Christian Mother going through this trial, with her daughter and the rest of her family.

There is a prayer tower going around within her own church, and a prayer tower within our church where 15 minute slots of prayer, so the entire day of October 29th will be covered.

Uphold Beth, her daughter and the family to God in prayer.
Strength to endure what may come down with the decision of the judge. God will be in that court room, surrounding the  people that are present. Also to be with the family that suffered this lose.

Thank you for your prayers.

Please Pray for the Hammond Family who lost their 16 year old son Mike over the weekend. This boy/young man was in my son's 6th per English class and my Son had just talked to him in school. Apparently what happened is he took some Oxycontin/Morphine type of drug and never woke-up in the morning. The Family is devastated to say the least. The Christian Club meets today and should have a big turn-out as many on campus are grieving some have known him since pre-school, my son has known him since 6th grade and although he was'nt close friends with him he's still very sad. My son told me the Father had just yelled at the boy for being late and what he thought was drunk, not knowing he was over-dosing he went in and went to sleep. The Services are this weekend. So please Pray for the Family I dont know them but I think its important for my son to go and say Good-Bye.  Thanks Summer.    P.S. I just wanted to add this boy came from a good family, lived 4 blocks from the beach and attended a blue ribbon nationally recognized school, andd obviously was experimenting with drugs, not knowing his respiratory system would drop out...Parents Beware!!! P.S.S. Please Pray for me as I'm going through a Stressful time with a Career change and 2 teens at home...God Bless.

Pray for the Billy Graham Crusade at the Rose Bowl in  Pasadena Nov 18-21. Pray hearts would be softened and open to the Gospel that is able to save souls. I really think there is going to be a great out-pouring of Gods Spirit, and this may be one of BG's last crusades as he's had recent health problems, so pray for his strength. I don't know how many nights he'll be preaching, or if his son will be speaking, but this crusade was re-scheuled from a few months back. Also the short tv promo is very powerful. Summer

Thanks for the map Stephen. I just got back from the BG Crusade it was really good. Billy looked Great in his black overcoat and full head of grey hair, he was assisted by a walker up to the podium. Then he preached on the rich-young ruler and the one thing he lacked, while emphasizing Gods Love for him, and everyone else in the crowd, he especially had a heart for the youth, being that Third Day did a concert. And then he gave the alter call and thousands poured down the aisles, to the theme song of 'just as I am'. We had no trouble getting in or out everything ran smooth. There were  protesters outside with signs  before and after with stuff like God kills and some other non-sence, we just ignored them, but they were gathering a crowd as we left. I think we missed Bev Shea sing and the choir on arrival. Tomorrow the last day Jars of Clay will perform. Keep Praying for the new generation to hear the word, and respond. We were in the Mandarin Chinese section and a whole row in front of us went down six to seven. The Rose Bowl was jammed packed probibly 50k in attendance.  Summer

At latest count, this 9.0 earthquake has killed at least 22 thousand.

I sometimes wonder about the Lord's purpose in natural disasters that affect poor people the most.

Luke 13:4-5
Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?  I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

I guess that it means that what the Lord has in store for the rich is in the future.

You will remember that the terrible earthquake in Iran took place one year ago to the day as the recent catastrophe. Anybody wondering about the strange events in Florida this hurricane season?

I have two prayer requests that are personal.

1. My Aunt Hazel who is 90 years old, a deaf mute , suffering from dementia, has fallen over Christmas, and broke her hip.
- prayer is that God will be done what is best for this beloved lady.

I saw her on December 23rd when I went to the Villa(a retirement type of home), to give her a gift. She went and got a friend of her , who once own the house my parents bought 30+ years ago. We went to the dining room and had  tea and cookies. Then these two elderly women both in their 90's took me on a tour of there home and we went to each door and admired the decorations.

Our local Presbyrterian Church which my Mother attends:

Pastor of that church, found out on Thursday,
that his ten year old son was diagnosis with
Muscluar Dystrophy.

Prayer that the congregation of the church will raise to support their shepherd.

Prayer that the Pastor and his family, be left in arms of Jesus, putting their absolute trust in the HEAVENLY SHEPHERD, to help see them through.

My mother said it was a very sad service on Sunday.
Her pastor was in tears trying to do the sermon.
This church is one of the faster growing church especially the Sunday School area.

The Pastor of that church and his wife have a Clown Ministry reaching the younger members of the community.

Oh, how praying rests the weary!
Prayer will change the night to day:
So in sorrow and in gladness,
DONT FORGET TO PRAY.

Verse 1:
Ere you left your room this morning,
Did you think to pray?
In the name of Christ our Saviour,
Did you sue for loving favour,
As a shield today?

Verse 2:
When you met with great temptation,
Did you think to pray?
By His dying love and merit,
Did you claim the Holy Spirit
As your guide and stay?

Verse 3:
When your heart was filled with anger
Did you think to pray?
Did you plead for grace, my brother,
That you might forgive another
Who had crossed your way?

Verse 4:
When sore trials came upon you,
Did you think to pray?
When your soul was bowed in sorrow,
Balm of Gilead did you borrow,
At the gates of day?

:)HAPPY LORD'S DAY OF FEBRUARY 27TH

Pray for the protections against anything that Satan will be throwing at us, as we learn and grow, in areas God wants us to be in, and to allow Him to change us, to point of getting closer in a more personal relationship.

I keep you posted....

May 2nd:

I have a couple of prayer requests that I would like my family of Christ here on bb to pray.

I am slipping in depression, and I notice it more today, partly of the result of the Weekend upset, partly because it has been raining the last few days, and partly my emotions have been brewing at the surface the last few weeks.

I have been like a shaken pop bottle , just before you open it.

It was opened, and I am having a hard time containing those emotions.

Second:
I had the first of the month errands, walking to bank and to housing to pay the rent. Which is 45 minutes one way.
By the time I got to bridge, to walk across the bridge, something in the back of my left calve ripped, making it very painful to walk.
I kept going. I was obviously limping badly when I got home, and now it is beginning to swell.

I broke my ankle two years ago, ever since that leg has been plague by one problem or another,
tenditis in my heals, I do have the syndrome that affects the knee caps,
I have been have a popping or tear then in the back of my calfs for a couple of months now.
Ever since I feel on some ice on the way to church one Sunday.

Despite the pain I keep going.

Three: Next week, I was given a very generous gift, and am now committed to go.
So I would like prayer to be able to tolerate the pain in my legs and the tenditis in my shoulder, to do a few things around the house. And to be able to honour the committment of this gift.

A couple of people knows about the gift, and I appreciate the cost and preparation that went into that gift. I am honoured to have been choosen for this gift.

It is a gift that will further allow me to learn more about my mental illness, how to cope with it, and eventually learn what I need to do to continue on the journey on Recovery.

If any of you suffer from depression and other mental illnesses. I suggest because of the positive experience I have had in the last year, with you local COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH CLINIC,
it is a valued tool I have used to recover, whether it is going bowling or yoga or self esteem groups.  They are tools to grow and learn, and take the steps of recovery.
That recovery is a slow process, because it is a one step forward and many many slips backwards.
Only with support and encouragement to keep those steps forward, even with a slip up, that the journey is less lonely.

I have been told that this gift I will be participating in next week, will be a major step to graduating out of the program.

So I am asking for mercy, and stamina, and whatever God is willing to grant me to complete my task in honouring this gift.

Fourthly: Due to the recent episodes, I will ask for your prayers so I will not dwell on it any further that I have to. To allow the forgiveness be once and for all and buried in the deepest sea and post a no fishing sign. To grow on this in the love and strength, not bitter and anger to eat at me.

Fifthly: For the ones who wish to continue with their resentments, that they will take the time to learn about the very thing that they object too. That includes myself.
To learn is knowledge, and knowledge is freedom, that includes freedom from prejudice.

Example: I hate alcoholic, because of I had to tolerate from my Father growing up.
Now that my father is 11 years Dry, Praise the Lord, and from his most recent softing of his heart, the answer to prayer over his salvation. I am now seeing signs that the fruit of those prayers because of the change in his attitude towards me. I am now a daughter that can be proud of her Daddy again. I am daughter who is loved by her Father. A daughter that my Father can be proud of.

It took a few of the members from program at the Community Mental Health, and the Mood Disorder Peer Support Group, to hear the people story who suffer from alcoholism, to really listen to them opening up maybe for the first time about their pain. To understand that they like me have demons of their own, in their  past, in the spirit to work through and overcome.
SO WHO WAS I TO JUDGE THEM. I can only offer a listening ear, shoulder, weep when they are weeping. To Pray for them silently. To accept them for who they are.
That is a very valuable lesson I have learned . Maybe understand my own father battle with the addiction more.

Sixthly: Continue to pray for my health , whether it physical, mental, emotional, spiritually.
Maybe the opportunity to be in the job market, in a full time position in an office setting, whether I get to go back to school and take an advance computer course, and medical secretary course, so I can eventually take my place in becoming self sufficient.
Of course to apply for such a job within the Ottawa Area, will require a french course to be come fluent in writing and speaking and understanding in that language.

So if you could put these prayer on your prayer list and offer me up to God, to be used for what ever and where ever and how ever He wants me to .

Thanks for your prayer and thanks for answered prayers in advance.

May 8th: HAPPY LORD'S DAY, AND HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY.

I HAVE A PRAYER REQUEST:

It is for TRAVEL MERCIES.

I have been blessed and honour to be asked to participate in a three day all expense paid, conference in Thunder Bay.

I will leave 4:30 am for the Ottawa Airport leaving 6:20 am, with a two hour lay over in Toronto.
Arriving in Thunder Bay at around noon.
Leaving Thunder Bay at 3 pm arriving back in Ottawa about 8 pm Friday May 13th.

The conference is part two of the one I attended in Kingston.

It is called RECOVERY BASED RE MENTAL HEALTH.

There are two clients and two workers from each location under the umbrella of the Pembroke General Hospital. Community Mental Health Clinic Sections.
The Areas of traveler is Arnprior, Renfrew, Pembroke and BarrysBay.

The workers here in Arnprior, knows my love to learn, attend workshops and write.
They know I am a very good note taker, write reports and orally report to the rest of the staff and clients in my own community group.

My personal goals, which I would like you to specific pray for is:
1. Learn more about my own disorder
2. learn more how to cope with my own disorder
3. learn what ever steps I need to get me on a more foundational recovery path.
4. learn the necessary ways to apply what I have just learn.

5. To allow God to teach me as well, in a very secular atmosphere.

There will be workers and clients from all over the province.

It is exciting, It is my second trip on a plane.
Even though it is a working vacation, it is a vacation, I feel very privilege to being asked, and honoured that I am going. They also know, I am bragging here.
That I will honour the expense by working hard, and being committed to work they have prepared in advance.

I am seeing, the intertwine of what I do here on earth, whether it is in the secular world, and the Christian world, that work I do , will be rewarded in eternity.
That is the purpose: goal to work for eternity.
RIGHT.

GOD RULES...THERE IS NO DOUBT ABOUT IT...GOD RULES.  ..AMEN.

So please pray for my travel mercies and the doors of knowledge be open to absorb the learning aspect of it all.

Thanks you Lord for answered prayers in advance.

Please pray for me too.

I am taking a 2 day, no expenses paid trip to a re-licensing seminar.
I'm going to have to drive there, and pay for food and hotel.

While I'm there, I won't be able to see patients,(that means I won't be making a dime)  so pray that everyone will be OK until I return.

Hopefully, I can learn how to be a better, more effective Chiropractor.  Thanks for praying.

Definitely!

And I hope they have a supportive seminar for flakey friends. By all means, make an effort to attend it. I've heard that they give away Cub's hats, but instead of the C, they have two F's on the front, that are pointing to each other, so that it actually looks like an A. I think they should put the F's upside down and get rid of the middle line, so that either way you look at it, it says "L" (for loser).

Another one to watch for is the ARAAC group: Avoid Reality At All Cost. I'm sure many of your patients would benefit from this one; make them all think they need your care for the rest of their lives, that, as far as health concerns go, they need do nothing for themselves.

Oh, yes. Don't forget the most important one: Labeling with Permanent Markers: Highlight your genepool now.

I hope I wasn't too harsh, here. And these are suggestions only. PLEASE don't take it personally and begin to OCD all over this board again.

With Christian concern from the Lilly field,

Wow, that's.....ah.....disturbing?  Good post though.

So, my seminar doesn't have all the other services.  There will only one speaker with a Power Point presentation and a syllabus.

Those hats seem wierd.

JULY 15TH:

ASKING TO BE UPHELD IN YOUR PRAYERS BEFORE THE LORD, DURING THE NEXT 10 WEEKS.

I AM MOVING FROM A 3 BEDROOM TOWNHOUSE, TO A ONE BEDROOM APARTMENT.

There are many details to do. Including cleaning the house from top to bottom, and packing etc.

Also going through my possessions.

I need to be asking the difficult questions:

DO I NEED THIS OR DO I JUST WANT IT?

And other difficult decision may present itself.

The question of my dog!

SHe is a 10 year old border collie lab mix, and she is showing her age, She has not known any other home than this one. As I have lived in this house for the last 18 years.

I am asking the Lord to help me decide, with his vast wisdom peaceful understanding.
Whether this is the time to decide the fate of my dog?

Would she adjust to apartment living, would it be fair to her.
SHe is old and badly spoilt and some of the consequence of aging in regards to her potty needs.

This may be the most difficult decision associated with the move.

SO I am asking for help within the prayer department.

I thank you in advance and I thank God in advance for answered prayers , thus he will show me clear direction of which I choices I need to make.

Thank you.

Hi Lenore, I'll be praying for you maybe you could try to keep the dog in the new place and see how she adjusts. Also in light of organizing everything you obviously have the Keepers then maybe you could do a donation or a garage sale of items, and then a trash pile if you have somethings your not sure of wait on those. So if you have these 3 sections of things it makes it easy to organize and somewhat fun. I actually love getting rid of things and only keeping things I really like/love or are necessitys. My friend had a garage sale a few weeks ago and I took over a couple of boxes of who knows what from my garage and made about 85.00 on junk I would of given away to salvation army or goodwill we had fun and met alot of nice neighbors. God Bless Summer.

So will I. We just moved and the amount of "stuff" we had acquired is nothing short of startling.
Untold boxes went to the trash. An equal number was donated to Goodwill.
There is much culling yet to be done. Get friends to help!  ;)

p.s. The most difficult thing was getting rid of my 1987 turbo-charged RX coupe. I sold it for one dollar to a friend who intends to restore it. At least I will get to see and maybe drive it occasionally!

We will pray too.

In June my wife and I moved into our first home. We started going through our stuff asking ourselves "do we still need/want this" The Salvation Army was very appreciative for our regular trips to thier drop off site. We moved initially because we found out she is pregnant and a couple weeks ago we found out she's having twins so we have much more work to do in the next 6 months. Please pray for us also.

Rejoicing in the Lords goodness

July 31st:

Sara is moving into her new apartment today.
It will be five minutes from the college which she will be attending in September.

I am asking for prayer:
That she will adjust to the new setting quickly. As Sara doesnt not handle change very well.

I also as that she will find a new church home and make it a priority.

I also ask that she will seek God for the decisions in her life.

I also ask that she will be settle into college life and give priority and attention to her school work and that her frustration level will be able to be handled, and she will seek that support and necessary staff advisor as she needs.
Sara is abit hyper, I still call her Cyclone Sara.

So I ask that you will lift Sara up in to God's hands and give her over her care to God.

I ask that you will put Sara on your prayer lists and pray for her frequently.

Thank you for praying and thank God for answered prayers.

September 4th:

Hi All who are supporting me in prayer.

I will need your prayers to up hold me in prayer this Saturday.

Because I am moving on October 1st and with observations all summer. I have decided to put my dog Missy down.  The date is on this Saturday. Sara and I will be taking Missy to the Vet's together.

My decisions reason as follows:
Missy is 10 years old, badly spoiled.
She is peeing all over the floor, even just after taking her outside.
She has allergy sores that requires special shampoo.

The apartment I am moving into is a very small senior's apartment, going from a 3 bedroom townhouse to a one bedroom, and the adjustment for Missy , I dont think Missy will make the adjustment. I will have to take her down 3 flights of stairs.

Missy has been my companion for the last 10 years. This is not just an animal with me, This is a family member.
The decision process was a roller coaster, listening to advice which was so conflicting from one to another, and observing Missy all summer.

Missy is also a medium to big dog, if she was a smaller dog, I may have attempted to try her in the apartment. I believe it would not be fair to take Missy into the apartment, and she is too old and spoiled to give her to someone else. Missy is a Mamma's girl.

So I am asking you to pray in the lines of:
Peace for my decision
Emotional support for both Sara and I on Saturday.

Also keep praying for the move on October 1st, and the adjustment I will be having to make.

Praise: I have applied for , interviewed, orientations, for a volunteer office job.
I will be volunteering twice a week at the local Senior Home Support Program, in the office as a receptionist. This is one of the many planned steps I am taking to get back into the work force, as part of the goal achieving plans. I will be working on Wednesday afternoons, and Friday mornings. It is about a 10 minute walk. I will be finally back doing what I was originally trained for 30 years ago. Office work.

Thank you for your Christian caring and your supportive prayers.

February 21st, 2006.
This was part of a world day of Prayer some time ago. I thought you would enjoy reading it.
Lenore.

PRAYER

I asked God to take away my  habit. GOD SAID 'NO'.
It is not for me to take away, but for you to give up.

I asked God to make my handicapped child whole. GOD SAID 'NO'
His spirit is whole, his body is only temporary.

I asked God to grant me patience. GOD SAID 'NO'.
Patience is a by product of Tribulations; it isn't granted, it is learned.

I asked God to give me happiness. GOD SAID 'NO'.
I give you blessings, Happiness is up to you.

I asked God to spare me pain.  GOD SAID 'NO'.
Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares and brings you closer to me.

I asked God to make my spirit grow.  GOD SAID 'NO'
You must grow on your own, but I will prune you to make you fruitful.

I asked God to give me all things to enjoy life.  GOD SAID 'NO'.
I will give you life, so that you may enjoy all the things.

I ask God to help me LOVE others, as much as He loves me.
         GOD SAID.........AHHHHH
FINALLY YOU HAVE THE IDEA

In Romans 16: 25-27:
Luke 9:51
2 Peter 1:12

Our Small Groups Ladies Study night, discussed the
Established (TEV: stand firm in your faith)

As Christians who are established in the Word of God, through believing and obeying God.
Can influence others in our community, country and the World would believe and obey God.

It can be our vision statement, for our obedience in the Great Commission that Christ commanded us to do.

In my part, my personal prayer of late has been:
For my girls to return to their first love of knowing Christ, where did they receive that first love, was within the church that influence their choosing Jesus as their Saviour.
Since nobody can be an island Christian unto themselves.

There are many people attending my church, who children have drifted away for one reason or another, I am praying that all the former children who are now prodigals will return to their first love.  You know God has been answering. I am continuing to pray this.
So where or whatever God leads into answering this prayer of mine. My prayer that I will be able to hear Him and respond accordingly.

So if you would like to join me in praying for our children to maintain that first love or return to that first love, including those who have been disillusion, heart/spiritual broken, etc. God can heal the broken hearted/spirit and renew your love for the Heavenly Father, despite the painfulness of past that is affecting the present.

God Bless you in all that you are doing, may God show you his love and his comfort by engulfing you with in his arms. If you need to , just climb on his lap, and pour your heart and soul out to him.

Love in Christ

Lenore

To all my brothers and sisters in the Lord that read this site:

I am requesting that you pray for my youngest daughter Sara.
This morning August 7th at 1:20 pm Sara gave birth to a little boy by emergency C-section, weighing in 4 lbs 10 oz 6 weeks early.  Sara is recovery in Queensway Carleton Hospital in Ottawa, while little Jacob William  is being monitored at the CHEO(Children Hospital of Eastern Ontario),
Sara wasnt able to hold Jacob, only touch her foot, and has three photos of Jacob.

Sara and her husband James are both only 19, and this is their first child.  Apparently, they had to totally put Sara under anaesthic, and thus little Jacob was not breathing at birth.
The Placenta was coming off the uterine wall.

Sara and James have support from family, but the extra support of praying believers in Jesus Christ uplifting this new parents and this new life into the arms of Jesus, would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Hello assembly attendance:

To all my brothers and sisters in the Lord:

My grandson who was born August 7th needs your prayers.

Jacob is still in hospital.

He has a clot in the liver, is still on oxygen, is having difficulty sucking a bottle.

He is allergic to milk, and needs a special formula.
This formula cost about $60 a can, which lasts a week.

My Daughter and Son In Law, is staying at the Ronald MCDonald House on a daily basis to be near Jacob who is in CHEO (children's hospital),

The doctor's is warning my daughter Sara that Jacob could have the possibility of a learning disability when he grows, as it took 40 minutes to resucitate him after being delivered via C section.

Also I am asking for prayer, as I have not been able to see my grandson.   I also found out that my oldest daughter Christie was married last July 29th.
So I am dealing with issues.
I am asking that you pray.

Bless Sara and James,  Christie and Jason with God's salvation.
Bless Jacob with God's healing purpose.
Bless my other three grandchildren with God's salvation and purpose for their lives.

Thank you for our care and prayers.  Thank to God for his answered prayers.

Thanks alot it is appreciated.

Lenore

I have a prayer request.  I won't go into the details, but a person in England
whom my sister visited 43 years ago put an add into the paper looking for her.  I got
in contact with him, and his younger sister, whom I had written 43 years ago (when I
was maybe 8 or 9 years old) began to e-mail me also.  This happened last week.

During our e-mail conversations the Gospel was presented to her, and she is extremely
open to it. She said she had never heard it before and asked to hear more. I know we
all have so much going on in our own lives, with our own needs, and own prayer requests,
that asking to pray for another can kind of be a burden. But I really want to ask this.

I would just ask sincerely if you could take a moment and ask the Lord if he could open her
heart, keep the enemy from stealing away the word (as he has a habit of doing as the Parable
of the Sower shows), and really give her an understanding of the love Jesus has for her.

Her name is:

Janice --and she lives in Manchester, England.  Thank you ahead of time if you have a
chance to offer up a prayer for her. Remember, the angels in heaven rejoice when one sinner repents!!   :)

You may have heard Greg Laurie on the radio. He is the Pastor of Harvest Christian Fellowship
in Riverside.  His son was killed yesterday morning in a traffic accident.  Please pray for the family.
