I know that there was a discussion recently about CCM, but I am wondering what songs (or hymns) are currently special or striking to some of you.

Hi Andrea, if you ever get a chance read Dennis Jernigan's testimony (it is awesome) if you have not already read it http://www.firststone.org/testimonies/men/a_broken_heart.htm (http://www.firststone.org/testimonies/men/a_broken_heart.htm) , a lot of the people flocking to San Francisco would hate to hear his testimony before going to city hall.   ;)

Also he has written a lot of the Praise songs sung in some churches.

Anyway, the song that has been a blessing to me is "When God Is Silent" by Dottie Peoples.

Also enjoying "My Purpose" by the The Anointed Pace Sisters.

WOW is about all I can say about that testimony.  Thank you for sharing it with me.  I hope others will take the opportunity to read it.

Must warn you though it does not put Hillsong in a "good" light, if you are into Hillsongs worship music.

Even though I do not agree with some of the stuff, the parts about Grace and growing are awesome.
